Hey folks!I really need your comments or reactions for this one cuz this is actually one requirement to be able to pass my Polsci12n subject.I sent this letter to the Cebu city gov't via email.
Greetings!
I am a an incoming junior student of the University of San Carlos.I have this Political Science subject which requires us to ask for information about anything we want to know concerning our society.According to the 1987 constitution, found in article 3 sec 7,each one us has the right to information on matters of public concern. In relation to it,I'd like to ask about a certain law in Cebu city.
You see sir,I've learned from my professor that the Cebu city Government has this law prohibiting people to smoke in public.I got surprised when i learned about it because as what I have observed, smoking in public is very rampant.I always see a lot of people especially men smoking along the streets, inside PUJs and everywhere.
So,I'd like to inquire if this law in the city still exists. If so,how is this implemented? What has the authority done regarding this?
Thank you so much and I do hope for your response.
